The first italian didgeridoo compilation
The association Yidaki, producer of the
compilation,
entrusted the artistic direction of the project to five of the most
well-informed players in the Italian and international didgeridoo music
scene; Daniele Bombaci, webmaster of the most followed Italian didgeridoo
forum; Andrea Ferroni, founder of the Scuola del didjeridoo and artistic
director for various musical events; Fiorino Fiorini, co-organiser and
co-artistic director of the didgeridoo festival of Cesenatico; Ilario
Vannucchi, webmaster of Didgeridoo.it, the most frequently visited Italian
didge site; Martin O'Loughlin, Australian, student and promoter of
aboriginal culture and music.
The intention of the project was to produce a CD of good quality that is
representative of music produced in Italy and in which the didgeridoo plays
a key role. An Italian anthology of the didgeridoo. We are proud to say that
we have succeeded in reaching this goal! The collection will contain solo
tracks and musical compositions of great variety, from psychedelic rock to
ambient, from slow meditative pieces to upbeat dance music. We received
submissions from all over Italy.
